Diff Commander - folder compare and synchronize tool

Step 1. Comparing

Use path selectors to select appropriate sources for compare. You can select the local folder, zip-archive, FTP server or snapshot for compare.


Then click on the    to start.

The current Profile settings dialog will appear:

Select the appropriate comparing options and click "Compare".

After comparing, Diff Commander will display all the differences in two synchronized tree views with a number of visual traits (see the screenshot). The first folder is located on the left pane and the second one is on the right pane.


Step 2. Before synchronization

After comparing, all items on the panes has synchronization directions, e.g. from left to right or vice versa. If the items are equal the synchronization direction is "equal" (the "==" sign in the "Action" column in Diff Commander).

Step 3. Synchronization

If all the preparations are done and all the synchronization actions are chosen properly, you can start the final phase - synchronization. On the "Synchronization" toolbar click "Synchronize (F7)" to synchronize the selected items or "Synchronize All (F9)" to synchronize all items:
